Innovation: medical weight loss, CBT-I, and home sleep testing

We are a digihealth solution that keeps pace with the latest medical research.

We understand that people living with insomnia, sleep apnea, and other sleep disorders often face barriers to care, including access to specialists, uncomfortable diagnostics, or treatments and therapies that feel hard to maintain.

For people with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), medical weight loss programs are an important recent breakthrough. Excess weight is a key contributor to OSA severity, and targeted programs focusing on sustainable fat loss have been shown to reduce airway obstruction during sleep, improve oxygenation, and decrease daytime sleepiness. These medically-supervised approaches are especially effective for patients with mild to moderate OSA, and can complement or reduce reliance on device-based therapies like CPAP.

For people who are unable to fall or stay asleep, cognitive behavioural therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) is recommended by international bodies as the first-line treatment for insomnia. Unlike sleeping pills, CBT-I addresses the causes of poor sleep by retraining the mind and body for healthier sleep patterns. Research shows CBT-I helps people fall asleep faster, reduce broken sleep, and feel better during the day.

Home sleep testing has transformed how sleep disorders are diagnosed. We offer a home sleep test that is the accurate, convenient and comfortable option, where more complex lab testing isn’t needed, helping you get answers quickly and comfortably. The home sleep test has been clinically evaluated to output measurements comparable to those calculated during a polysomnography (PSG) study, like in a sleep lab.
