Chris has a long-standing special interest in sleep disorders medicine and works as a general adult psychiatrist in Sydney seeing patients with various psychological and psychiatric problems, many who are treatment resistant. He works in private practice and as a Visiting Medical Officer at The Sydney Clinic where he is Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee.

He is the senior psychiatrist at the Woolcock Clinic, Macquarie University, where he assists in various sleep research projects. He has a strong interest in teaching medical students and trainees in psychiatry.

Chris is a member of the Australasian Sleep Association and an active member of the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, serving as both Hon. Secretary and Treasurer of the NSW Branch.
